Please after pasting delete ALL columns before company TLA e.g. ID and blank..


With data correctly formatted in Excel


Note date columns as dd MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss and that End Date must be 23:59:59


Select Columns only from and Including Company_TLA to Record Date..

(note record date will change to date time pasted in....!!!!)



Right mouse click in table section (any cell) in Talons SQL




Note the other options in the right click menu



Paste rows (MERGES any EXISTING and ADDS any NEW rows from clipboard)


Check dates consistency (verify dates) checks that where multiple records for one dept exist that dates supplied make the mapping “unique” with no overlap


Delete Selected rows use grey left margin to highlight rows then press Delete key or right click this option which will tell you to use the DEL key
