Background and Experience.
Qualifications.
Experience
1978 to 1984, Served as Engineer officer in Ships of the Australian
National Line, both Internationally and local.
1984, Project managed asbestos review of all ANL tonnage as part of
Health and safety review.
1984 - 1989 Started as Senior Engineer At Western Hospital, moving
to Chief Engineer, later Director of Building and Engineering Services.
1990 Appointed Director, Information Systems to Implement the
Hospitals new Computer systems.
1995 Joined CSH Consultants as specialist consultant in Casemix
data extraction, providing services to 8 Major Melbourne Hospitals
1996 Installed extract software for Canterbury Health in
Christchurch, NZ for their RUS re-implementation as part of their change to M.D.I.S.
Patient systems.
1995 -> Providing Interfacing expertise to Pickware, later
Sanderson Health for their range of health software. This includes extensive HL7
interfacing.
1997 -> Implementing the extract processes for Transition II for
Unix project on behalf of HCS Australia as part of the Queensland Health Casemix project.,
